Our ethos here is simple; to offer top quality, freshly prepared meals using only the finest local and seasonal ingredients wherever possible. We are passionate about offering you, our guests, value for money whether you're ordering from our Sandwich, Lunch, A la Carte or Wine Menus.
There is far more to your dining experience than your taste buds of course, we aim to provide a warm and welcoming environment to heighten the enjoyment of your food and drink. We place great importance in the service you receive with a real emphasis on providing relaxed yet attentive service.
Our Wine List has been created to offer the best available wines from our local suppliers with an excellent range of White, Red, Rose and Sparkling by the glass to suit all palates. We've looked to provide wines to suit all preferences and budgets from both Old World and New, whether it be an unknown treasure such as our 'Picpoul de Pinet Les Roches' or seasoned veterans like our 'Corton Grand Cru 'Les Grand Lollieres' 2003'. Look out for our upcoming Wine Club events which will offer a series of tastings, dinners and guest speakers, a real must for the connoiseurs amongst you!
St Giles House Bar & Lounge
Situated between our sun terrace and Restaurant is our Bar. Every day from 12:00pm, the Bar offers a selection of cocktails as well as Coffees and an array of Beers, Wines and Spirits. A perfect place to start your evening or for an aperitif before you dine with us. If the bar is too much for you why not escape into our lounge and sink into one of our sofas with a drink in hand. Alternatively you can end your evening meal in here with a digestif or coffee and petit fours. Once relaxed you can be assured you'll find it hard to leave!
Private Dining
St. Giles House offers an intimate, stylish venue suitable for all party sizes. Our two Maddermarket Rooms are easily serviceable from our main kitchen and offer the same high standards of food and service as our restaurant within an enclosed, private atmosphere.
Maddermarket One can sit a maximum of 12 people with the smaller but perfectly formed Maddermarket Two able to hold up to 8. Of course, if you require that little bit of extra space our Walnut Suite offers a host of possibilities (please see our Event section for further details).
